Building A better Community in La Jugarreta, Mexico

Building A better Community
in La Jugarreta,
Mexico

Pitch
La Jugarreta- Frontera, Mexico, Joven (1993)
In Mexico over 7% of adults aren't able to read or write. Also 2% of Children can't read or write. The total population of Mexico is 114,793. The average life expectancy in Mexico is 77 years of age. 93.4% of Adults are Literate, and 98.5% of Children are Literate. We are trying to raise money to build a classroom For children in mexico to be able to raise mexico's literacy go up to 100% or at least close to it.

This project means alot to me, It means alot to me because I think that it is important for kids to have a good strong education. It is important for everyone to be literate because then they will be able
to express themselves to others and listen and see how other people
express themselves. I feel that since everyone is equal in life that you
can't be treated the same if you can't fight for what you believe in
if you don't understand what is going on around you.

Critical Need

People in Mexico need to know the importance of Classrooms
becaue it will help them grab a better understanding of how
many people in Mexico don't actually know how to read or write.
People need to know this because then they could donate or help
build a Education Centre to help get everyone be able to read or write.
To get every single person in Mexico to be able to read and write,
because7% of adults can't read or write and 2% of children can't
read due to the lack of centres to teach at.

Impact

This project would benefit the world because it will allow the world's
literacy rate to go up and benefit free trade around the world do to
the amount of people that would understand how important it is.
This would not only help Mexico it would help Canada because we
need beer, cigarretes, and Automobile parts.

  1. I enjoyed reading your blog, i though the pitch was very good. You included many facts in the pitch and also stated why you feel this project is important to you. One thing you could work on is the Critical Need section. I feel as if you could add more detail and explain a bit more in this section. Your feasibility was very detailed and gave a very realistic idea of how much money this project would cost. There are some spelling errors, but not many. I enjoyed this blog, very good job!

  2. This blog has a good amount of information. You also provide accurate information about feasibility, which gives me a good idea of how much this project will cost. Your critical need could have some more detail to have a greater impact on the reader. Job well done.

  3. I think you had lots of facts and I pretty good understanding of the topic. However, I think it could have been written better. You need to be a little more convincing in your pitch. Also, you have a couple of paragraph structure issues such as in your pitch there is a big gap in the second paragraph. Also, the bright red, underlined text is kind of distracting and hard to read. I think the blog is not quite there yet but if you were to fix up a couple things and add in some sentences more deeply explaining the topic and explaining the importance of literacy, then it would make your blog a lot better.
